Pi Network

We got approval at work to use Raspberry Pis to learn about Linux administration basics. However my place of employment did not want these Raspberry Pis connecting to the work network. Since what we mostly wanted to work on involved package management and installing software, that presented a problem. To address this, we created a mini-network with one Pi that was a domain name controller and a DHCP server and second Pi that was a package repository. This is what my living room looked like when I was setting all of that up.
These are the instructions for setting up the network components.
These are the first steps clients take to get added into the network.
