We got a rotary adapter for our big laser cutter. We had to remove the honeycomb bed to make it fit below the laser head. We also had to make several changes to the configuration file for the cutter. It also required switching out a plug inside the cutter so that power would go to the adapter instead of to the Y axis motor. The whole thing was pretty stressful, since I was constantly afraid I was going to bork the cutter beyond repair. |
